Nearly the biggest disaster of my photography career.
The driver announced that he'd parked badly and decided to straighten the car up. I decided that this would give a great opportunity to take a better interior/driver shot, so I got into position. Straightening the Veyron involved moving the front nearer to me, slightly too close. When the driver flung, and I mean flung, the door open, the frameless window passed within 1cm of the end of my lens.
1cm more and we would have a smashed Bugatti window, $1000 lens and I would probably get a broken nose into the bargain. :o Close shave!
